Top 10 Wide RECEIVERS in the NFL (2023)
As the 2023 NFL regular season approaches, here are the top 10 wide receivers in the league!!
10. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions
The 23-year-old wide receiver out of USC has made quite a name for himself in just two years. St. Browns’ sure hands and uncanny work ethic have made him the face of the Lions’ offense. Though his route running needs a little work, St.Brown has continued to improve and don’t be shocked if he is higher on the list in 2024. Detroit has high expectations this year as the favorite to win the NFC North, and they should if Amon-Ra continues to show he is the future WR1 in the Motor City…
9. Terry McLaurin, Commanders
One of the most underrated players in the entire NFL charts at number nine. McLaurin has had no stability at QB since he entered the league but puts up numbers every single season. Scary Terry’s athleticism and contested catch ability make him a threat wherever he is lined up. The Commanders have been one of the most controversial teams in the NFL the last decade, and have not found their franchise QB yet. One thing they know they have is an Alpha WR1….
8. Cooper Kupp, Rams
Kupp had an injury-riddled 2022, which bumped him down the list heading into 2023. He was arguably the best WR in the league two years ago and should find his way back into the top five after this season. What is there not to like about Kupp, insane work ethic, route running, and hands. Cooper isn’t the most athletic guy, but he makes up for it with a high football IQ. The Rams’ roster is a mess, but they will always have 18 to lean on in times of hardship…
7. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys
One of the flashiest wide receivers in the NFL comes in at number seven. Lamb has carried on the 88 WR legacy well in Dallas, as he has been selected to the Pro Bowl two straight years now. CeeDee’s speed and big play ability make him dangerous on go routes and deep posts. He has also a great YAC receiver and security blanket for Dak Prescott. Lamb may be seven this year, but will surely be top five in the next couple of years…
6. A.J. Brown, Eagles
Brown was traded to the Eagles during the 2022 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact. The former Rebel transformed the Eagles’ offense, as they finally found that Alpha WR1 to pair alongside Jalen Hurts, Devonta Smith, and that elite O-line. Brown’s strength and ability to create after the catch make him one of the most feared players in the entire league in open space. Expect another strong season filled with grown-man runs from Arthur Juan…
5. Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals
Chase dealt with some injuries in 2022 but still looked fantastic in the games he played. Much like A.J. Brown, Chase is a handful to deal with in open space, but he does it in a different way. Brown is trying to run through you, but Chase is just going to run right passed you. That Burrow to Chase connection will light up TV screens in SouthWest Ohio for years to come…
4. Stefon Diggs, Bills
Since arriving in Buffalo, Diggs has been fantastic and has played arguably the biggest part in the development of Josh Allen. Diggs’ route running and hands make him the perfect wide receiver for the city of Buffalo. Stefon’s game isn’t the most exciting, but it gets the job done at an elite level. The former Terp should age well, as he doesn’t rely on his athleticism all the time. The next goal for Diggs: Super Bowl….
3. Davante Adams, Raiders
The former Packer proved he wasn’t a product of Aaron Rodgers, as he put together another stellar season with a tumultuous QB room. Adams has been the most consistent wide receiver in the NFL since he entered the league, improving each and every year no matter how old he is. The best route runner in the NFL led the league with 14 TDs last season and is one of the best red zone receivers in the game. Number three seems low for Davante, but this league is filled with talented receivers…
2. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins
Hill has solidified himself as one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, as each and every year he puts up numbers. The fastest man in the NFL was on a record-setting pace in 2022 before his starting QB went down with a multitude of injuries. Tyreek’s speed is his best attribute, but his ability to pull down contested catches goes under the radar. Hill now enters his second year in Miami, where the team looks great with weapons and talent all around. Let’s see if Hill can complete his Hall of Fame career with one more Super Bowl title in 2023…
1. Justin Jefferson, Vikings
Much like the QB list, there are no surprises at number one. Jefferson is on a historic pace and will go down as one of the five best receivers in football history. His all-around skill set and elite production will make him the highest-paid receiver ever in a couple of months. JJetas is a fan favorite and a soon-to-be all-time great…
